Simple Sentence
Structure
Is your child using a core vocabulary of nouns and verbs but having
difficulty stringing words together in a meaningful way? This program helps
children with autism combine words and understand simple sentences.
An
Essential Step in Language Learning!
Many children with autism need assistance moving
from single words to word combinations. This program will help them undertand
the importance of Subjects, Verbs, and Objects in simple sentences.
The program starts with an assessment test to determine where training will begin and then automatically guides the child through the learning process. During a lesson, two pictures appear and an encouraging voice asks the user to identify the picture that illustrates a particular sentence (Example: “Find…‘The boy is splashing the girl.’”). For those children who need help focusing, a black background is available. Amusing reinforcement animations captivate the learner and motivate performance.
