First Words, First Words II, and First Verbs help individuals with autism master essential early vocabulary. These programs offer the consistent, focused, and supportive environment that many children with autism require to learn beginning vocabulary.

First Words, First Words II and First Verbs provide highly-structured training of early developing nouns and verbs. Each program trains 50 words in developmental order, focusing on only five words at a time. Each of the 100 nouns in First Words and First Words II can be trained using either two illustrations or two photographs. First Verbs uses two different animated illustrations to train each of the 50 early developing verbs.
Each time a word is mastered, training on a new word begins. Words are presented alone or with one other picture on the screen. A black background can be used to eliminate distraction. An encouraging voice, colorful pictures, and animated reinforcements will engage your child and make learning fun.
